How we get your order to you, and what happens if something is not right.
Last updated: 1 March 2026
We deliver in our own refrigerated van across the Denver metropolitan area, Tuesday to Saturday. Central Denver is served every delivery day; Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Golden and Westminster on Wednesday and Friday; Englewood, Littleton, Centennial and Highlands Ranch on Tuesday and Saturday. Boulder, Louisville and Castle Rock are served on wholesale rounds and by arrangement for retail.
Retail deliveries run between 10:00 and 17:00; you receive a two-hour window by text the morning of delivery. Wholesale deliveries run from 6:00 a.m. Because the goods are perishable, someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive the order. If nobody is there, the driver will attempt contact and, failing that, return the order to the shop; a second attempt is charged at $12.
Collection from 65 West 12th Avenue is free and available during opening hours. Orders are held refrigerated for 48 hours; after that, we cannot guarantee the reservation.
Fresh cuts are wrapped in butcher paper, labelled with product, weight and date, and packed in insulated boxes with ice packs for delivery. Freezer-share cuts are vacuum-sealed. Boxes and ice packs can be returned on your next delivery and we will reuse them.
Meat is perishable and cut to order, so we cannot accept returns simply because you changed your mind. However:
Retail orders may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the collection or delivery slot. Freezer shares and custom-aged primals are cut or reserved specifically for you; once the animal has been committed, a 30% deposit becomes non-refundable.
Refrigerate at or below 38°F immediately on receipt. Fresh cuts keep 3–5 days; ground meat 1–2 days; vacuum-sealed frozen cuts 9–12 months. Freeze on the day of delivery if you are not cooking within that window.
