The rules that apply to this website and to orders placed with the shop.

These terms govern your use of chops.aljarash.com and any order you place with Chops, a sole proprietorship owned by James Davis of 65 West 12th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80204, USA. By using the website or placing an order you accept these terms.
This website is informational. It does not take payment and has no online checkout. Orders are placed by telephone, by email or in person at the shop.
Prices shown on this website are indicative retail rates and are not an offer. Meat is a market commodity: prices, cuts and availability change with the animals we take in. The price confirmed to you in writing or at the counter at the time of order is the price that applies. Many items are sold by weight, so the final amount depends on the actual weight cut for you, within a tolerance of roughly 10% of the requested quantity unless we agree otherwise.
An order is accepted once we confirm it by email, by telephone or in writing at the counter. We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, where an obvious pricing error has occurred, or where we cannot verify the order details. Weekend orders should be placed by Thursday 12:00 noon; freezer shares require seven days' notice.
Retail orders are paid on collection or delivery by card or cash. Trade accounts may be granted net-14 terms after three months of trading history; overdue balances may attract interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by Colorado law, whichever is lower.
Delivery terms, areas and fees are described on our Delivery & Returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Because the product is perishable, someone must be available to receive a delivery; we cannot leave meat unattended.
Fresh meat is perishable and cut to order, so it cannot generally be returned once it has left our premises. If a product is not as described, is damaged, or falls short on weight, tell us within 24 hours of receipt and we will replace it or refund it in full. Full details are on the Delivery & Returns page. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Colorado consumer protection law.
Our products are raw and must be refrigerated at or below 38°F, handled hygienically and cooked appropriately. Consuming raw or undercooked meat may increase the risk of foodborne illness. Allergen information for house-made products is available on request; while we take care, our premises handle multiple animal proteins and cross-contact cannot be entirely excluded.
All text, photography, the Chops name and the Chops logo on this website belong to Chops and may not be reproduced without written permission, except for ordinary personal or press use with attribution.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
We take care to keep the information on this website accurate, but it is provided without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the website or any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud where such exclusion is unlawful.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, and the courts of the City and County of Denver have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
